Al Nahda International Schools have two campuses for boys and girls.
Both the campuses are custom-made keeping in view the various facilities
in sports, science labs, libraries, canteens, clinics, and mosques.
At the Al Nahda International Schools there are two streams: firstly,
the British system preparing students for the IGCSE and GCE A-level
programmes. The medium of instruction is English for all subjects
except extra languages such as Arabic, French and Urdu.
Students take the IGCSE at the end of Grade 11 and GCE A-levels
at the end of grade 12. The school has been prescribing students
for these examinations since June 1988 and has invariably produced
excellent results.
The second stream at the Al Nahda International Schools is called
the American programme. The same syllabus as in the British programme
is followed in English language, maths and sciences up to grade
9, thereafter students can branch off to a two year local high school
diploma. Other students branch off to the American High School diploma
where social studies, maths, physics, chemistry, biology, economics
and business studies are taught in English.
The Al Nahda International School is accredited by the Cambridge
Board syndicate, the London Board, the local Ministry of Education,
the Council of International Schools and the New England Association
of Schools & Colleges.
