Saint John's International School was established in 1992 as an independent
unit within the prestigious educational institution of Saint John's
College. It operates independently but is able to benefit from the
infrastructure and resources of the college.
St John's International School offers English medium education
to children (aged 3-17 yrs) from a wide range of backgrounds, countries
and religions. It operates largely within the framework of the National
Curriculum of England with full provision made for study in Thai
language and culture as required by the Thai Ministry of Education.
Assessment procedures are similar to those found in England with
National Curriculum Tests at KS1, KS2 and KS3 and with (I)GCSE examinations
at the end of Year 11. The academic year runs from September to
July.
St Johns is formally recognized and licensed by the Thai
Ministry of Education, and is accredited by the Worldwide Education
Service (UK). The school is a member of the Council of International
Schools (CIS) and the Federation of British Schools in South East
Asia (FOBISSEA)
St John's International School has excellent facilities with fully
air-conditioned classrooms, specialist science, design technology,
art, music and ICT rooms. Well-qualified and experienced staff are
recruited and are supported in class by language support and classroom
assistants. There is an ESL programme running to support children
who are having difficulties learning in English. Additionally, there
is a new orchestral music programme with students able to take lessons
in a many orchestral instruments.

the International Airport and downtown Bangkok. Access to the expressway
is nearby.
