The Casablanca American School, founded in 1973, is an independent, coeducational, university preparatory day school offering a US and International Baccalaureate-oriented education from Nursery through Grade 12. The school year is divided into three trimesters that extend from early September through mid-June.

The curriculum is that of US and international private university-preparatory schools. Instruction is in English. The International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program is offered in Grades 11 and 12 with virtually all Grade 11 and 12 courses based on IB syllabi. Advanced Placement exams may be offered if requested. The IB Middle Years Program is offered in Grades 6-10. Specialist subjects include art, computer, health, music and physical education. French is a mandatory second language in Grades 2-10. Arabic is mandatory for all students in Grades 2-6 and continues to be mandatory for Moroccans in Grades 7-10. After-school sports, such as track and swimming, are conducted at local facilities. Soccer, volleyball, basketball, and other team sports are offered at the school. The school is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.
