Lincoln, The American International School was founded in 1936
to meet the educational needs of the international and business
community of Buenos Aires.
Today's enrollment of approximately 566 students is predominantly
international with about 14% host country representation.
Lincoln, The American International School of Buenos Aires is accredited
by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and most
of the graduates attend US universities. In general the curriculum
is US based, however, a strong IB program is offered in the High
School and an Argentine certified bilingual program is offered in
grades K-9.
Lincoln, The American International School of Buenos Aires offers
a wide range of extra curricular activities. Competitive sports
and a strong performing arts program in both music and drama are
available in the middle school and high school.
Lincoln, The American International School of Buenos Aires is located
in a quiet residential neighbourhood approximately 14km north of
the city center. The campus is modern and well equipped with separate
facilities for early childhood, elementary, middle and high schools.
Resources include a large covered swimming pool, a full track and
soccer field, a gymnasium, cafeteria, three computer labs and two
library facilities.
