The American International School - Riyadh provides an enriched American curriculum and offers an ESL program. American International School - Riyadh has 180 classrooms, three libraries with technology stations, 11 science labs (six computerized), 12 computer labs, a large air conditioned gymnasium, a new purpose-built theater, two multi-purpose courts, a full size grass athletic field, full service cafeteria, and a large outdoor playground area.

Available sports include volleyball, basketball, softball and soccer. Extracurricular activities include choral music, student government, drama, spirit squad, yearbook and an extensive after-school activities program. The school also offers classes in art, band, orchestra, speech, drama, computer sciences, Spanish, French and Arabic.

American International School - Riyadh cannot accept students who are physically, mentally or emotionally handicapped to the degree that they cannot be enrolled in a regular program of studies. The school term is from mid-August until early June, with a three-week winter vacation and a one-week vacation in the spring.
