International Schools Group

The International Schools Group provides education for the multi-national students whose parents are temporarily residing and working in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. ISG is governed by an appointed and elected Board of Trustees and is sponsored by the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Education

International Schools Group operates eight educational programs in five locations throughout the Kingdom. Included among these schools are four American curriculum schools, two National Curriculum British schools and two International Community Schools.

The American curriculum schools are accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and the British schools deliver the National Curriculum for England and Wales and are inspected periodically by professional education support groups located in the United Kingdom, utilizing the OFSTED inspection framework. The International Division schools are candidates for accreditation by the Middle States Association for Colleges & Schools.

International Schools Group operates under a license granted by the Saudi Ministry of Education. Non-Saudi Muslims are permitted to enroll in District schools with prior approval of the Ministry of Education. Saudi Arabian nationals, however, are not permitted to attend ISG schools.

Facilities at all of International Schools Group's school sites include science labs, computer labs, libraries and physical education facilities. Extra-curricular activities are offered at all sites and include activities such as drama, music, crafts, sports and photography.

Facilities on the 40-acre Dhahran Academy campus include a library with 60,000 volumes, three covered play areas, two gymnasiums, three playing fields, four science labs, six computer labs, a mini-theatre and a cafetorium.
