Reedley International School

Reedley International School is a private co-educational school with an international program that combines the Singaporeans’ training in mathematics and science and the Americans’ literacy in humanities, communication and arts. It is the first institution in the Philippines that provides an Asian-American approach in global learning.

Reedley International School offers Grades 1 to 12 classes (lower, middle, upper school), for ages 6-18, and open to all nationalities. Local, foreign and expat children are exposed to textbooks, learning aids, and critical thinking skills books sourced from Singapore, USA, London, and Hong Kong to meet international standards and enable students to continue their studies in foreign colleges and universities. A number are now successful college students in USA, Canada, and Australia.

Class size range from 7 to 25 students for better teacher-student interaction, more classroom discipline, and greater motivation to earn honors and awards. Reedley International School follows the American Grading System. Medium of instruction is American English. Competent, local licensed teachers together with an academic support group contribute to effective classroom learning.

The latest innovation of Reedley International School is its Personalized Classroom Learning Program (PCLP) which benefit students with specific learning difficulties or who refuse to go to big schools. With a small class size of 1 to 6, students can obtain school credits (quarterly or on a monthly basis) and seek promotion to the next grade level with less stress but with more parental supervision. Shorter class hours in school, individualized attention and more independent studying at home are made possible, thus, students are required to meet high academic standards set.

Reedley International School School hours are from 07:00 to 13:00 and 12:00 to 18:00 (two schedules available), Mondays thru Fridays. Major subjects (math, science, reading, language, history and geography) are taught daily and electives are integrated to provide balance and fun in learning. Intensive and frequent Guidance Counseling sessions promote nurturing, a solid preparation for college, and emphasize discipline and morals.

Admission to Reedley International School, through qualifying exams and interviews, is open all year round for both Mainstream and PCLP students. The school calendar is from June to March; consideration for acceptance is extended to new, returning, and transient students.
