St. Clare's, Oxford is unique in the range of courses it offers. As
an international college, it has a long-standing mission to advance
international understanding and education.
It does this by offering courses in the following areas:
- International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB) for students wishing to
gain access to universities in the UK, the United States and elsewhere
- university level Liberal Arts Programme
- English language courses, including extensive summer programme.
By having a Language School as part of the College, we are able to
offer much more to language students than a stand-alone language school.
Language students benefit by access to College facilities such as
the 35,000 volume library, a full activities programme, a Careers
Adviser and the College dining rooms.
It is possible, for example, to take English language courses at St.
Clare's and then register for the Pre-IB programme followed by the
full, two-year IB Diploma.
We welcome applications from students irrespective of gender, race,
colour, religious belief or national origin. We are proud of our diversity
of our student body (currently 35+ different nationalities) and the
impact it has on the culture and life of the College.
