International College of Continuous Education

International College of Continuous Education was established in June 1998 and offers a continuous system of education as follows: pre-school education - Step I; basic school (grades 1-10) - Step II; secondary education (grade 11) - Step III; continuation of training in Oxford, UK (baccalaureate, master) - Steps IV-V.

The International College of Continuous Education is located in a building of 2,582 sq. meters, and consists of three different blocks designed for kindergarten, primary school and secondary school. The kindergarten has light and comfortable playrooms, bedrooms and areas for creative work specially equipped with furniture, educational equipment, means of training, visual aids, and other resources for creative work of teachers and children. The primary school has six classrooms with a game zone in each, and all the equipment required for effective learning. The block has a relaxation room and a spacious hall with displays of student work. There are 26 fully equipped classrooms and laboratories in the secondary school. Classrooms are generally subject-based and are well-equipped with video, specialist equipment and resources. The International College of Continuous Education has a large conference hall where concerts and other student performances take place, and a gym of 375 sq. meters with a table tennis area, changing rooms, and showers. There is a modern computer room with Internet access and the latest software. The library supports all of the courses offered, and provides a great general library for background reading, ancillary study and recreation. It also has audio-visual materials and supplementary audio-cassettes. The library is equipped with computers and has a collection of educational materials, course books, and other fiction and non-fiction literature in English, French, German, Kazakh, and Russian languages. This collection is continuously updated. The college also has a choreography hall, art rooms, and music rooms, designed for individual music lessons. There are rooms for medical service, psychological service, a speech therapist, massage and other services. There is a spacious dining hall. The ICCE also has a modern fully equipped kitchen and a laundry. The college facilities provide opportunity to meet the needs of each individual student, both inside and outside the classroom.
