The International School of Larissa is situated in the prefecture of Larissa in Tyrnavos, only 14Km from Larissa city. The "International School of Larissa" is a comprehensive community school, which caters for students from Reception to Year 12. The school prides itself on good parent-teacher relationships and provides a safe, supportive and well-ordered environment in which children develop empathy for others as well as confidence, responsibility and a strong desire to learn and achieve. 
CURRICULUM: The curriculum is based on the USA and UK academic standards. We teach for understanding through an acceptance of the variety of learning styles, values and diverse cultures and beliefs that exist in our school community. We are implementing certain aspects of the IB Primary Years Program for students in the Early Years Program and the Intermediate Program. It includes Greek language, music, drama, and English as a second language. A low faculty-student ratio caters to the individual needs of each student. International School of Larissa has been accredited for grades K-12 by the Middle School and Colleges Association of the USA.  International School of Larissa is offering Advanced Placement classes for eligible students in 11th and 12th grades. International School of Larissa provides a variety of extracurricular activities including Modern Greek, Drama and Music. Among the sports offered are tennis, basketball, volleyball, softball and indoor soccer. The secondary curriculum is college preparatory. Students can graduate with a standard College Preparatory diploma, an Advance Placement International Diploma or a General Studies Diploma depending on how rigorous a program they choose to follow.

The facilities at the International School of Larissa feature a 300 seating capacity indoor gymnasium, separate buildings for High school and Elementary schools, a modern Design and Technology Center, a well-stocked library, a Science Labs, computer labs, and 2 outdoor playing courts for tennis, basketball and volleyball.
