The American School of Bangkok (ASB) was founded in 1983.  It is one of the oldest and top international schools in Thailand. It is a private international school with grade levels from nursery 1 - grade 12 for students 2 - 18 years old. It is accredited by the Ministry of Education and Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and it's also a member of EARCOS.
ASB offers an American curriculum with an international perspective.  It also offers AP courses.
There are approximately 80 qualified and certified teaching staff, predominantly from the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, etc.
The facilities include computer labs, swimming pools, a soccer field, a basketball court, tennis courts, a gymnasium, an auditorium, music rooms, libraries, playgrounds, etc.
School days and hours are Monday - Friday 7.30a.m. - 2:45p.m.
