Windsor International School was founded in 2001 and is constructed to provide a first class learning environment, together with outstanding sports and recreational facilities. The school accepted its first intake of students in September 2002. It is co-educational and offers primary education to both the Thai and international communities.

Windsor International School is licensed by the Thai Ministry of Education.

Inherent in the Windsor International School's motto 'To seek to learn' is the philosophy that learning is a life-long experience for all and that formative school life provides a foundation of knowledge and a code of values for that journey. The school's mission is to deliver the highest standards of excellence in all aspects of the school's activities. The main aim is to create an secure, happy and stimulating environment in which children are encouraged to reach their full potential.

The curriculum at Windsor International School is founded on the English National Curriculum as modified to suit local students needs in covering the key stages with a structured and broad based program of study, combined with sports and cultural activities. The Thai curriculum is used to provide for Thai language teaching at all levels to meet the requirements of the Ministry of Education.

Cultural awareness, manners and etiquette are stressed. The school puts an emphasis on practical learning and aims to lay the foundation of knowledge and learning, which will enable students to develop confidently within an increasingly scientific and technological society.

All teaching staff at Windsor International School are UK qualified, supported by Bilingual Teaching Assistants at Foundation and Key Stage 1 levels.

The purpose-built campus includes air-conditioned classrooms, a resource Centre, a fully equipped computer and music room, a clinic and dining facilities. The school also has a spacious garden, playground and access to a large swimming pool to fully encourage sporting activities. Attention to safety and cleanliness are incorporated in each of the facilities that are provided.

Admissions to Windsor International School are subject to an internal assessment test, interview and school reports where relevant.
